Job Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 6-12 Months
Location: Buffalo, NY
Rate: $DOE/hour on W2
(1) Sr. BA /PM/ Data Analyst (This Position must have strong Data Analytical (strong SQL) skills and some PM skills)
(2) Sr. BA (Strong Finance BA with Data Analytical (strong SQL) skills)
Skills Required.
- Strong data analysis and Data Modeling and Reconciliation skills.
- Strong query capabilities
- DB / Access capabilities
- Overall ability to communicate verbally and in presentation format
- Ability to understand and dig through complex processes”
- Project Management skills (Agile preferred) for one of the candidates
- Finance background with reasonable understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk/CVA experience
- MS Access/MS Excel (Advanced) and basic SQL writing
- Business Analysis and Data Analysis for both positions
- BA Degree in Finance (product control), Financial Accounting or other Quantitative (i.e. Engineering)
- Knowledge of Derivatives
- Knowledge of FASB 157 reporting requirements
- PowerPoint, Word, Visio MS Project for one of the positions
- Strong Financial Accounting and Credit Derivatives knowledge
- Strong Communication Skills
- Knowledge of the following Financial Products:
- Structured Debt,
- Interest Rate Derivatives,
- Commodities,
- FX Credit Derivatives and
- Equities
